Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho planning a stunning double raid on Man United! The Special One sets his sights on Old Trafford stars to boost his squad for the upcoming season. Get ready for a transfer saga that could shake the football world!
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, now at the helm of Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce, is eyeing two players from his former club for summer signings.
Mourinho has been connected with an attempt to bring in Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof. Alongside Lindelof, he has expressed interest in adding midfielder Casemiro to his roster at Fenerbahce.
According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Fenerbahce’s sporting director Mario Branco is actively working to fulfill Mourinho’s requests, initiating efforts to acquire Lindelof, who is reportedly on Manchester United’s transfer list.
In addition to Lindelof, Branco is also targeting Casemiro, the defensive midfielder. Casemiro’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain, with Manchester United seemingly open to selling him this summer after a lackluster second season. He has previously attracted attention from leagues in Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer.
With Manchester United set for a significant squad overhaul to reduce their wage bill, both Casemiro and Lindelof are likely candidates for departure. Casemiro, who was a standout in his first season but struggled in his second, was notably left out of the FA Cup final starting lineup.
Manchester United is considering new defensive and midfield options, with names like Jarrad Branthwaite, Leny Yoro, Amadou Onana, and Joao Neves emerging as potential replacements.
