Sanabria, who was leading the build-up play, fed Bou near the edge of the box. The striker, who had almost gone too far, pulled his body back and lifted the ball with his chest. With that movement, he gained the necessary distance from his defender. He used that first contact to bring the ball up.
Then you could predict what he was going to try. With a sequence worthy of Rivaldo, the Argentinian performed a bicycle kick from a long way out, from the edge of the box, and struck the ball to the far post. The Tigre goalkeeper was nowhere near expecting such a response.
