In a video on his recently launched YouTube channel, Ronaldo shared his desire with former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand, taking a subtle jab at legendary figures from the previous century, including Pelé.
When asked about his target, Ronaldo confidently stated, ‘I want to reach 1,000 goals.’ Ferdinand responded with surprise, ‘F hell! How old will you be then, still playing?’ Ronaldo replied, ’41? We don’t know. But if I stay injury-free, I can make up the 107-goal deficit in under two years.'”
